What type of chip do you have? Do you have it overclocked?, Do you have your bios timings correct. I have seen this problem mostly on a cyrix chip, or and AMD that is overclocked. You can also try and hit ctrl+alt+del and close down all background programs except explorer. Then run CM and see if it crashes.
