Russell,

yes i do but not what you do
there is certain client software that can be added to the gui that will allow a
player to make a move even before he knows your move
i do not know all of the details but the player actually completes his move and
waits for yours
as soon as your move is made ,his is made ,using no time on the clock at all
it is a gamble for the player because he could be ignoring a simple mating
threat, but in 99% of the cases with precious few moments left, in a time
scramble, both players are just racing against the clock and not really making
threats or parrying threats

this is different from what you do
you are making a 1/2 move and then waiting to see if its reasonable
you are using at least some time.albiet it a small amount of time

i am not against trying to make a move as fast as you humanly can,i am only
against using a pre-move client and unless the server allows it,i think its
cheating
