I tried multitasking the new ShredderClassic GUI with my usual programs like Outlook Express, Internet Explorer, EditPad Lite, etc., and it slows down my Windows XP Home (SP1) to slower than a snails pace!? It's too slow to be practical. For example if I want to start Outlook Express, I must sit there and wait about 30-60 seconds for it to load come up fully on the screen. In contrast the native Shredder 8 CB/GUI works reasonably OK for multitasking with windows. Athlon XP 2400+, 1GB RAM. I didn't notice much difference from the Classic 6 GUI that came with Shredder 7, so I can't see any reason to pay for an update of something that I can't use anyway. WP
