Multitasking is a little slower with 784mb hash compared to smaller amounts, but not a lot. The kind of slowdown I'm talking about is an order of magnitude greater. Apparently the Classic GUI monopolizes the processor more than the native CB GUI. It's similar to the kind of thing that used to happen with Chessmaster, which was infamous for monopolizing the processor's time. I'm not sure why, but imagine it has to do with the coding or method of compilation. Somehow it needs to leave the system (windows) room to breathe for a little multitasking, and not run itself at 100.00%. Computer systems are different, of course, and I have no idea why yours doesn't experience this problem. What other software are you multitasking along with the Classic GUI? -E
