I had a similar finding in GLC.  :)

Version 3.00 has a completely changed engine control architecture that doesn't
use separate threads.  Of course the threading issues probably had solutions,
but not without re-designing a fair amount of the control code.  So I did
re-write it, but instead used the simplest thing that works... only 1 thread.
