Vincent... think about this for a minute.. i would bet that virtually everyone who posts here plays online or has played online in the past and i would also venture to guess that almost everyone has been cheated online the rampant cheating online is holding back the sucess of the online chess servers IF we start talking about it OPENLY(and yes,this would included cheaters telling how they do it) then maybe,just maybe we can do something effective to eliminate it or at least control it right now it is out of control i think you are a chess programmer by profession it can olny be good for you and other chess porgrammers if the popularity of online chess were to grow..right now it is being held back by the rampant cheating believe me i HATE being cheated so much so that i no longer am a registered paying member of any server IF cheating were reduced or effectively controlled i would eagerly return and pay to play i suspect many players feel as i do about not paying to play any longer the more of us that are paying to play chess online the better for chess progammers like yourself just think about it.. lets not miss an opportunity to start openly addressing this problem Steve
