That's cute, and I am afraid probably no one will be able to help - it looks very much like a bug. The Fritz GUI is smart and in case only one move is possible to a line pressing the first letter is enough -> Bd6 . I guess whoever wrote this function just forgot about the pawn's ability to leave its own line even when pinned. Peter
