I think chessmaster has maninly been bought by daddy giving his son a present from the toy store. He might have choosen chessmaster because it had some nice 3D pictures on the back of the box. It's primitive things like that which sells. I think it is a mistake to assume anything that sells well is also the best product. If daddy had been into computer chess he would have downloaded Ruffian in Arena for this son spent the money saved on some other action hero figure instead. -S.
