CM is quite good at analysis and excels at checkmate finding.

If there is a very difficult position, throw lots of engines at it.  If you run
several engines, you will get a variety of interesting opinions.  In openings,
the paper analysis is probably a lot better most of the time than silicon.

I am fond of Shredder's analysis.

For correspondence time control, probably Uri can say what is best.
