To whome it may concern, I have a Xeon/precision 650 workstation, with 1GB of
Dual Channel DDR RAM. Your best bet is to call Dell or go to Dell.com for your
memory. please dont rely on the people on this fourm, unless they own a Dell
for a while. The xeon/precision 650 workstation can hold up to 4 GB of RAM, it
takes both types of ram, DDR or SDRAM. it has another vacant CPU slot, for a
3.06 CPU. About $300; Not to mention the 550 watt power supply, this is good for
the summer time. Im happy with this machine, you get what you pay for. You are
not gettig a bargin with a $300to $400 machine, unless you just want a computer.
Money is the motovating force in selling computers. Buying Advertising/how fast
the computer can go. Example: [there is a top of the line
P4s, middle of the line P4s, and the bottom of the barrel P4s]. But they all are
P4s, and blow joe public dont know the difference, as long it is a P4 at a
certain speed Ill buy it. Remember you get what you pay for. Its all about
money.
Have a nice day./.Bill^<>.
