I think you might want to read something on Knowledgable Scoring (Heinz).

Good luck, I will be with you in a month time... because I want to do the same
thing... But it could become a nightmare if you need to update your scoring
functions every time you change a tiny bit.

If you want to have some private correspondence on the topic, just mail me... I
am also doing what you're doing I think ;-)
