I used to have an account there. Until one admin decided that an author that made improvements to his own engine should notify the FICS admins that he has done so, and blocked my account because I didn't do that. My finger notes did accurately describe my engine, hardware, and included the link to my homepage where it could be downloaded. Basically because of the way the admin acted and the fact that my complaint to the head-admin wasn't answered, I decided not to return to FICS. Richard.
