If this is an automated computer account, it is possible that a free account
could be extended.  The rules are different for crafty clones (mentioned by Mr.
James Long in a separate posting) for the simple reason that there are just
SOOOOOO many of them now.

It is possible that you pay for the human account and get the computer account
free.  What I would suggest is that you register an account with ICC (either the
computer or human account can do), and then read the help files -- "help
computer". There is a 7-day free trial period anyway (30 days if you are a USCF
member) so this is risk-free.  Also you can message POTZY and take this up with
him.
