The book for the S8 UCI is an upgrade version over the CB one, so it has been improved further and allows a more restrict selection. I understand your arguments, but I think this was done in order to get extra money. The new GUI has several interesting features, so I think it is worth the money. Who registers will get the latest Shredder 8 UCI book as free download. Ciao Sandro
