Why would someone use the Shredder8.ctg in Shredder classic if he owns the
Shredder7.bkt book?

Shredder8.ctg is a pretty bad book.
It's the Shredder7 book merged with a Chessbase database.
The weights were converted completely wrong of course.
Therefore Shredder8 played 1.d4 f5 and lost quickly for example.

I hope Shredder 8 UCI + Shredder8.bkt book will not be tested by SSDF.
It isn't available in one package.
