Likely around 1974-1975. By late 1976 we were exhaustive like chess 4.x... It should compile cleanly but the HP comment makes no sense. IE no reason to use any double ints unless they were 32 bits on the HP 3000. I will certainly download it myself, I don't have any of that old stuff laying around. Will be fun to remember the good old days. :) btw that program ran around 1-2 nps on hardware of the day. :) _not_ knps or mnps either. :)
