In CM6000 if your kings safety is set to high, and CM6k calculates that its
kings has low points for kings safety, then it will sacrafice its own pieces to
make the opposition kings safety points lower. That is why CM6K kings safety
feature should not be set too high. That is one easy way to get CM6K to
sacrafice, and as well as putting the attack higher you will get the same
sacrificing too.

I emailed the chessmaster and I got that as a reply. So yes CM6K will make
sacrafices, Johan has stated that in the king engine in CM6K and his latest king
3.0 version it will sacrafice even without changing those settings. On standard
settings it is suppose too as well. I will see if I can dig up the article that
I read that in which he said that.
