thanks Torstein...for memory testing, I used this site: http://oca.microsoft.com/en/windiag.asp but will also try the site tha Jeroen mentioned. The problem occurs though not when running the program in a game, but when I click on new game, and position set up...then it shuts down. The hash table is set at 12 very minimal already...
