Yes, of course you can link to it. Via frames (or iframes) it should not be too difficult. If you want to create a 'link' without frames you need to do a little bit programming on your end. I have created some 'include' pages (I use readfile()) to get a foreign web-page into an existing page without frames so I could dig out some samples for it. If we are online together on f.ex. ICC (my handle is oddg) I could assist you when you try the first time. >that is if you wouldn't feel comfortable releasing the code as >"ready to install for dummies like me" To create an installationpackage for unexperient users to install on their server (or even to release it for this purpose) would generate a lot more work on this than the few hours I have spent. As always the hard part is the documentation and get to run smoothly in slightly different enviroment. I have 'tons' of utilities that never have leaved my hard-drive just because I don't have time to write the help/description text. Especially the gui for my engine that I realy want to put up somewhere, but as it is it would generate e-mail-flom to my account. > >I could provide some graphical, structural (visual) improvements if you like? > For the table/list you can do the graphical as it is. Just create your own stylesheet and add it to the link with .../pgntable.php?....&css=http://yoursite/style.css As a sample you can look at: http://www.chesslib.no/norbase.htm where Arild Fredriksen have included the hole database (NorBase) into his site. If you was thinking of the gameviewer it sure could need some nicer pieces, or maybe a choice for pieces in the link, I will look into it. >Have you ever thought of making a chess script that would enable players to play >in real-time with ratings and games database (games saved upon completion)? Hmm... isn't there already much better chess-servers out there than anything on a web-based server could manage. Odd Gunnar > >Regards >Jonas
