Why? Particularly since >you are one of the authors! > Kurt gave: "cc=105 mob=110 ks=155". In the other there is: "mycc=105 mymob=110 myks=155". These two are not the same and from the second is missing the: "opcc=105 opmob=110 opks=155" In the settings Kurt gave the cc for example means Center Control. And by giving to this the value 105, it means you give the value 105 for my center control and also for the opponent center control. In the http://www.grailmaster.com/misc/chess/comp/cm.html the settings are not complete as they don't have the opcc, opmob, opks. (I think-Perhaps i'm wrong and by giving mycc=105 the value for opcc is also 105) SKR settings can be derived from the standard settings in the Chessmaster GUI. So you can use Yace or Crafty with log=on to find what are the proper settings. If you make this you will have: White(1): cm_parm default Illegal move (ambiguous): cm_parm White(1): cm_parm opp=100 opn=100 opb=100 opr=100 opq=100 Illegal move (ambiguous): cm_parm White(1): cm_parm myp=100 myn=100 myb=100 myr=100 myq=101 Illegal move (ambiguous): cm_parm White(1): cm_parm mycc=105 mymob=110 myks=155 mypp=100 mypw=100 Illegal move (ambiguous): cm_parm White(1): cm_parm opcc=105 opmob=110 opks=155 oppp=100 oppw=100 Illegal move (ambiguous): cm_parm White(1): cm_parm cfd=0 sop=100 avd=-2 rnd=0 sel=12 md=99 So you see that you have to use: (cc=105 only) OR (mycc=105 AND opcc=105)
