Hi all,

in the end of December we will play our traditional Christmas Season Computer
Chess Tournament (CSCCT 98). Last year Junior 4.6 BETA wins.

Mode: Knock out system. Each match will be played over two games and the winner
of a match will be the first program to score at 1.5 or more points. If the
scores are level after the two games, two tie-break games will be played . If
the scores are still level after the two tie-break games, then two additional
tie-break games will be played until the first program scores 1.5 or more
points. The time control will be 60 moves in 30 minutes. Time control at
tie-break games: 60 moves in 5 minutes. If possible we will use auto232.
