Yes, actually there is. The first thing fritz sends to the engine when the
engine is
loaded is "Fritz". This is sent only once to your engine, not for every move and
not for each new game.

No, I don't think so. At least I didn't find a way yet. If anyone finds out a
way
to realize a "new" that starts a new game, I would be glad to hear about it.
