Subject: how to run an engine unattended on FICS?

Author: David R. Potesta

Yesterday, Jay posted a link to a Winboard adapter that allows one to run any
UCI engine on ICC. Here's the link: http://www.strops.org/egan/index.htm

1. Can this be used on FICS? If so, how.

2. Can this be used to run and accept games in an automated fashion? If not,
                                                    how is that done?

earlier post:

Will this allow one to use an engine unattended, letting the operator be
away, or does this require an operator to begin each new game manually? Would
this work on FICS?
