Not for me.
I find the right move only at depth 9.



and the mate at ply 8, so every move almost gets
>extended to the max one ply.


Qxf4 Bxf4 Rxh5 gxh5 Rxh5 Bh6 Rxh6 is already 7 plies without threat extensions
even when you have check extensions.

Movei needs 9 plies and not 8 plies because there is a pruning based on
evaluation and this line is pruned even at 8 plies.
