Subject: What now is the best lap top available, or will soon be?(esp. chess)

During the next few weeks I wish to buy the best lap-top possible (and maybe
also Palm) for use with chess and internet and other general uses.

I'm looking for the very fastest which will be out soon, or already, and I'm
also interested if the one below the top top, will be significantly cheaper but
almost as good.

I have the choice of buying in the UK or the US or Israel, except that in Israel
it will usually be almost twice the price, (or will it?).

Thanks for latest information, opinions!
