In auto232 mode the Shredder Classic GUI is only supporting this as a slave, so
it cannot send the moves himself but can react properly if the other GUI is
sending moves to him.

In engine matches or engine tournaments Shredder Classic can start the games
from any position.

It is also possible to play engine matches or tournaments where each engine is
running on its own PC. All you need is a remote shell access or something
similar on the remote machine, e.g. telnet, rlogin, shh. This can easily be done
with sshd or various free tools for the remote machine for windows. All the rest
is built in in Shredder Classic.

Please note that engine can also run on other operating systems like for example
Linux. So one PC with Windows for the Shredder Classic GUI and one with Linux
for the engine. If my new AMD64 PC will arrive in time this is how I will play
in the upcoming tournament in Leiden this weekend.

If there is interest I can explain how to do this, but please understand that I
cannot give you much support on how to install for example sshd.
