Maybe CM6000 does not play e4, because it thinks black will simply just not take the piece? If you set up this position and play e4 vs CM6000, CM6000 repsonds with Nd3, instead of taking the piece. >r1bq1r2/pp2n1pQ/4pk2/2n2pN1/8/2N1P3/PP3PPP/R4RK1 w - - 0 18 >the best move is 18. e4! which Capablanca played. My chess engines, CM 6000, >Fritz 5.16, Junior 5.0, Hiarcs 6, failed to find this move also. Another >sacrifice to open up the position.
