Hi Stefan Thanks for your kind answer The main purpose why i use the learn option Off is because when i try to develop new settings for Shredder engines i don't want the test games being biaised by this nicefeature. Of course, i use it for my own analysis or to see the difference between On and Off. I must say that with shredder 8 when it's On he becomes quite invincible after playing the same old moves. he seems to really choose the best move each time especially when i test him in long time controls. In blitz time controls it doesn't seem so efficient.
