I do not have any of the top chess engines. Maybe it's time to change this.
I do have older versions. I have Fritz 2 and 3, Genius 5 and recently I have
purchased Genius 7. I also have several flavors of Rebel.
I have Fritz 6 and Junior 6 (I think) sent by ChessBase. I also believe I have
an older version of Hiarcs (7.something). However I have never used them.
The only program I use as a sparring partner is Genius. I play a few blitz games
from time to time, giving 5 minutes to Genius and 2 minutes to Tiger. Always fun
to watch, and sometimes instructive.
Now I'm starting to think that maybe I should do like the other chess
programmers and try to find weaknesses in the competitors programs...
