There used to be a thread in the Arena forum about a standard book format: http://f22.parsimony.net/forum41668/messages/31920.htm Dieter Buerssner (of Yace) is interested in developping a new format, I would like to support it with jose, Martin Blume is (afaik) looking for a better book format for Arena. So, there is some discussion about a standard format. There is no specification, yet. But it seems to agreed that an opening book should be position-based, indexed by Zobrist keys (rather than FEN strings). -- Peter
