As I have said before, I almost went in for this work, and I CERTAINLY would
have been getting up at night.
I used to set all my dedicated and software computers with positions which I was
forever testing and thinking about, and I would sometimes leave something
running for days if not weeks, and kept checking up on them, all day/night. (or
manually playing games one against the other, or putting one in a weak position
and the weaker program in a stronger position, to see how the weak position can
be saved etc. I think it was mainly before autoplayers were available).
Anyway, no program came out of me, so what's it worth.
BUT, I was obSESSED.
