Congratulations to Stefan Meyer-Kahlen on his brilliant program and to Sandro Necchi for his "cunning" book on winning the CSVN tournament (ICT4 - 2004)! They really deserved the first place! Without doubt Shredder is #1 chess software in the world. A sincere hand-shake to Vincent Diepeveen for his excellent performance and a greatly improved Diep :-) Thanks to the participants, and, naturally, the organizers, the CSVN, for a well-organized tournament and the comprehensive and up-to-date coverage. It was a pleasure to be at least a tiny part of this event :-) Djordje
