I agree with Bob. We don't really know what happeend between the two machines and the GUI. I know that from my experience that CP don't make the same wb handling (at all) as winboard does. Second we don't how do you setup your crafty and ruffian. You can modify a lot of protocol stuff for each engine. This may be good for experts, but its bad for "normal" users. The predefine wb options could be sometimes bad. At all i don't see a protocol error. Daniel
