It's all coming from the CP GUI ....I believe that CP has not actully implemented the winboard standard or the UCI standard ...but something that bares a resemblence to the standard until you actually see the commands that the GUI sends. I recommend that Crafty users use Arena or Winboard. They seem to work best for Crafty.
