On ICC, a few of us were talking about the importance of not bailing out of an
attack for a free pawn. I was reminded of this game I played a little over a

How long does your program take to find not only the obvious Qf2+ (instead of
taking the pawn), but the whole correct line: 21...Qf2+ 22. Ke1 Bd7!
(threatening Ba4+) 23. a4 Rc8! (idea being Ra3 Bxa4+!) Takes crafty about 4
seconds to see Rc8 from this position. In the game, I saw up to Ra3, but missed
the Bxa4 idea. Unfortunate, but a good lesson to learn from. Andrew
