That is why the Melissa virus was so successful. So by using a good scanner, and _also_ using the 0000 account "trick" as you call it, I _am_ effective protecting them. In the business world they still use documents with macros, and still open emails without really looking. I can only control so much. An anti-virus program can only do so much. To protect someone from their own stupidity requires sealing them in a room and throwing away the key. My logical skills are just fine I assure you. So is my technical knowledge. I am not the one designing a program for sale on a free operating system... My customers are happy.. so run and find who ever you need.. Peter
