The reason I choose 30 minutes for the balance for each side was time limitations. So to me the 30 minutes balance means per side added on to whatever time is over from the 40\120 min. Example engine a) takes 40\110 min then it would have 40 minutes for completion, engine b) takes 40\119 then it would have 31 minutes. However even if taken as meaning 30 minutes balance total for each engine disregarding the 40\120 that is not what is meant.
