I don't care what you are interested in.
There might be some users who have created .obk books in the past and want to
get the variations quickly in Fritz or Chessbase.

No, that's not a bad advice at all. Works perfectly.
The converted .obk books (new format) are just as good or bad than the converted
.obk books (old format) are.

Why don't you suggest Chessbase to take out the ´import old book´ command from
their GUI or to include a warning message in the help file and stop bothering
me?
