Do you actually play FIDE rated games sometimes? I have a few times played 50 moves against an opponent who wanted to win a drawn endgame. Like KRN KR recently against a strong polish IM. One time i played KQP KQ in a game lasting 135 moves before i drew it. That last game took nearly 7 hours. Did you ever play such a long time to say so cheaply that it must be 150 moves instead of 25? I remember how Victor Korchnoi played on and on in a drawn position, but it was not a very clear position yet. Until i blundered and he won. He shuffled also for a move or 30 before i got tired and made a mistake. So that game lasted 7 hours. It was not nice. Jeroen Piket asked him after the game why he had played on that long. The analysis with Korchnoi was also very poor. He forced me in the analysis to play 3 very idiotic moves to then in a completely unimportant position show win after win for him (of course that those are there when you play 3 idiot moves with 1 side). Of course any try from the many reporters who intervened (about 30 people were around the board when analysing) resulted in a 'brilliant' win for Victor. After that game i had very little respect for the man. 25 moves would've been a lot better.
