BTW I really doubt that Shredder had _any_ advantage over Crafty with the quad opteron, based on playing quite a few games against it on ICC. The opteron was a _handful_ for _any_ program... And you overlook other strong CCT players like zappa, for one... And there were plenty of weaker players in the last WCCC to drag the overall average down considerably...
