I agree that this would be ideal, but there is no support for this kind of thing
in HTML.  It could be done in a Java applet, but then there would be problems
for people with older browsers, and even with newer browsers loading the Java
class files takes time.  And of course, writing a Java applet to solve this
problem is certainly a more complex solution than changing the existing HTML
interface.

Largely depends on the guys at ICD, I suppose...
