What is the point of 2. Qc4 ?
According to GM Yuri Averbakh ["Queen and Pawn Endings", page 126] :
2. Q-B4! ==> This is the best place for the queen, from where
it 'urges on' the QBP, stops Black's pawn, and helps
to screen the king from checks.
But all that seems not to be enough, Black draws after all. Regards, JAFM
