   I don't have the program so i couldn't tell you an accurate answer, i'm just
guessing. SMK (Shredder author) replied that question in this forum and said
that he had weakened the search a bit to make the program not so efficient in
this very important aspect of the engine, also added that Shredder Classic
engine has the same knowledge Shredder 8 does.

  The fact that SMK mentioned that the above facts were not making Shredder
Classic a top engine (2700 in ssdf), give us the clue that it is a little
weaker. how much? i don't know, but if you take that S7.04 is almost as strong
as Shredder 8, then i conclude that SClassic is not as strong as this 2 engines
(but still can beat 95% of the humans 95% of the time) :) .
