Isn't it impolite to imply the third option if Bob JUST said that he did give some? No respect whatsoever or what? The implication alone should be avoided among decent people - UNLESS there already were some cases of that same mechanic. Wild claims and no evidence. Up to now I see only two people who are involved in that profession. Two programmers from BENELUX. I see others who have Bob on their agenda for his - completely justified - criticism of the Levy/Herigh chess organization and its incredibly stupid decisions (in Graz). In that context we have two from a specific country who are promoting the _next_ Wch; of course they do also publish their being angry because of Bob's criticism in the tournament schedule of the event as such. That is impossible to enjoy for people who are really working hard in institutions. Such as universities. Not the worst place to be. It is absurd that programmers travel away form home for two weeks all 6 months just to operate! The same could be accomplished via Internet in a way better optimized style. In times of automatization it's almost a joke to have these creative people act like robots/automats who move the pieces around which the machine orders them. Incredible stupidity. That all is the mixture compositum of the confusion here that goes allegedly about "error estimates". I can't believe my eyes when I see how Bob is patient enough to answer all kind of outlandish questions, and I dont particularly mean yours here. > >cheers > martin
