This posting makes quite clear that Vincent's claim is wrong that Bob should
have _ever_ written or even meant that "that works also for 16 cpus"! The text
from 2002 proves without a doubt that Bob was extremely careful and BTW
pessimistic that the higher N the more the curve could go down in direction to
1. This makes all claims from VD, that Bob should have claimed the .7 in the
formula, as Bob would say, as poppycock.

We shouldn't ignore that a) Vincent's memory is weak, at least weaker than
Bob's, and b) that VD is also unable to evaluate what once has been said.

The 2002 posting contradicts to all what VD has ever pretended to be true. But
in reality this is no wonder once you realise what an expert Bob really is.

From Vincent hot air and a lot of confusion. Not enough to make Bob shutter.
