     Nobody has been accused but from your question it was clear
     that you are working with a cracked The King. If you own a
     legal copy of CM9 this would in principle not be necessary.
     It's fine that you seem to have a legal CM9 CD, sorry for
     the misunderstanding. And therefore an answer to your question:
     The King (respectively the chess GUI) does not have access to
     the endgame tablebases in its search but uses the EGTB as soon
     as a corresponding EGTB-position is on the board.
