My computer has an Intel 82800 family video adapter and whenever I try to run Majestic Chess, I am told that the program cannot be run. What is the problem? A. This problem is occurring because this graphics controller cannot support the default resolution and bit-depth for Majestic Chess, which is 1024x768 with 32-bit color. But there is a workaround for this problem. In your Majestic Chess runtime folder, there is a subfolder called "res". In this folder there is a file called "User.ini". Open this file for editing with any simple text editor, such as Notepad. There will be a section that says "[3Dsettings]" and a line in that section that says "32bit_color=1". Change this line to read "32bit_color=0" and save the file. You will now be able to run Majestic Chess. jm
