My current version however can still not see M31 and M30 in this position. [after some debugging] Some critical positions transpose to earlier lines, in which they happened to be too close to the hard limit, hence are stored as only +4.65 or something. A pathological case that I call perpetual transpositions. It also happens often in endgames with repetitional draws. No easy fix available, I think. :-( ... Johan
