Subject: Question about Apple/Mac laptop and running PC chess programs

Hello, for a number of reasons after being a loyal pc guy, I want to buy a Mac.
I have a number of the top end chess programs (F8, H9, SHR8, CT15, etc.) and
wonder has anyone used them on a mac with Virtual PC or similar software.
If so, do they work well, and have you been satisfied, or do you have any other
suggestions.  Many thanks in advance,
