I don't understand your answer, Marc. How does the UCI implementation level
affect the engine features? I'll take your tip and try out the engine in Arena,
which I prefer to the Shredder Classic GUI, but Chessbase's GUI is still my
favourite. It's a purely aesthetic matter for me. I've been using the same
layout in the Chessbase GUI since Fritz 6, and I don't want to change it: 2-D,
Teak Board, Fritz pieces, with Shadows, without Rounding.
